03 - 1 medium onion, finely chopped
04 - 9 oz sliced mushrooms
05 - 2 cloves garlic, minced

07 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese, plus extra for serving

→ Pantry

08 - 2 tbsp olive oil
09 - Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

# Method Steps:

01 - Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add fusilli and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water, then drain.

04 - Stir in minced garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.
05 - Return bacon to the skillet. Add drained fusilli and toss well to combine. If the mixture seems dry, add a splash of reserved pasta water.
