# What You'll Need:
→ Dough
01 - 2 cans (8 oz each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
→ Filling
02 - 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
03 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
04 - 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
05 - 2 garlic cloves, minced
06 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley or 2 teaspoons dried parsley
07 - 1/2 teaspoon dried Italian herbs
08 - 1/4 teaspoon salt
09 - 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
→ Decoration
10 - 16 grape or small cherry tomatoes
11 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)
# Method Steps:
01 - Preheat oven to 375°F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
02 - In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, dried Italian herbs, salt, and black pepper.
03 - Unroll crescent roll dough and separate into individual triangles.
04 - Brush each triangle lightly with the butter-herb mixture, then evenly sprinkle with mozzarella and Parmesan cheese.
05 - Roll up each triangle from the wide end to the tip to form crescent shapes.
06 - Place crescents on the baking sheet arranged as a Christmas tree: one roll at top row, then two below, and so forth to five at the base; position remaining rolls as the trunk beneath the tree.
07 - Bake for 13 to 15 minutes, or until golden brown.
08 - Remove from oven and brush warm crescents with remaining butter-herb mixture.
09 - Garnish with grape tomatoes as ornaments and sprinkle with additional parsley if desired.
10 - Serve the crescent trees warm as an appetizer or snack.
